woah, i haven't updated in AGES. wow, bad me. mostly because i've been working on my myspace. i think it's better than xanga, (sorry au-co) you can personalize more stuff, have people leave comments that aren't in your blogs, you can post bulletins, and even have a picture gallery. if you want to see mine, click the link.

i also use myspace more because aol thinks that xanga is inapproperiate and the paretnal controls block it.

oh, HELL no

i just saw a dateline report not 10 minutes ago that was very agrivating. everyone knows about the ubiquitous yellow wristbands labeled "LIVESTRONG." some f***er is making ripoffs of them and selling them. that's really F***ED UP!!! personally, as a person who's life has ben dramaticaly changed by cancer§, i'm really pissed right now!!!

if you intend to make a noble act and purchase one of these wristbands, watch out. they are only sold in 4 places. the website, discovery chanel store, build a bear stores and select nike stores. the livestrong bands only come in one color-yellow. all other colors do not benefit cancer research.

so if you see a street-side vendor selling them, them being sold in a mall, or in a color other than yellow, don't buy it. if one of your friends is selling them, politely ask where they bought them. if they answer correctly (one of the four locations), give them a pat on the back. if they answer incorrectly (anywhere besides the four locations), are selling non-yellow bands or are selling them for more than a dollar; politely punch them in the face repeatedly.

§ 1995, my mom started to feel unwell. she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. she went through very painful kimo therapy sessions at a local medical session. she was very tired all of the time, felt physicaly sick and wore a wig from losing her hair from treatment. on june 6, 1996; my mother died of ovarian cancer. now every year, my mother's parents, her brother and my family go to the cemetary on june 6 in memorial of her death.

the death of my mom isn't really an emotional subject anymore, months of greif counceling over at the lick mansion really helped. feel free to ask me questions if you have any. i won't burst into tears or hate you for bringing it up. it's just those f***ers who really piss me off and want to strangle them. HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT??? assholes.
yesterday was a busy day. i started out going to get a hair cut. but the place i usually go to was booked. so my dad and i drove around looking for another place. because i refused to go to "kiddy cuts" i went to this other place. the lady there didn't speak very good english, so she didn't cut as much as i wanted. i'll hafta go get it cut again in like a week.

after that i went downtown to work at a fundraiser for my bs troop. it was the annual "family dinner" formerly known as the "steak dinner." i was on the bbq crew so i got there at noon to help set up the pits. i bbqed for 8 hours!!! so i reaked of smoke. at least we got free samples. we cooked 460 pounds of tri-tip beef. mmmmmm that was good meat. after all that was cooked, i went across the street, my dad wanted me to do my baloon retrieval thing from the ceiling of the gym.

i tie a bunch of baloons in a chain, with the one on top covered with tape. i bump it into the baloons on the ceiling and bring them down. they wanted me to do that because it's girl scout sunday right now and they used the gym for extra seating.

i got home around 9:30, showered and sat around for a few hours then went to bed.

awwww, that was my last steak dinner......heh heh heh.....no more work for me......
